Job Title: Oracle Fusion WMS Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion WMS (Warehouse Management System) Consultant with 5 to 10 years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion WMS solutions. The ideal candidate should have successfully led at least two end-to-end Oracle Fusion WMS implementations, with at least one implementation integrating with Oracle Fusion SCM modules (Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, and Manufacturing). This role requires strong functional expertise, integration knowledge, and excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and clients effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion WMS, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand warehouse operations and align them with Oracle Fusion WMS capabilities.
  • Work on Oracle Fusion SCM modules, specifically Procurement (PO), Inventory, Order Management, and Manufacturing, ensuring seamless integration with WMS.
  • Define and document functional requirements, business processes, and workflows related to warehouse management operations.
  • Configure Oracle Fusion WMS to optimize inventory tracking, inbound and outbound logistics, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
  • Provide expertise in WMS integrations with third-party logistics (3PL), transportation management systems (TMS), barcode scanning solutions, and automation tools.
  • Conduct user training and knowledge transfer to business users and IT teams.
  • Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities during implementation and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues related to Oracle Fusion WMS and its integrated modules.
  • Engage with Oracle Support and internal IT teams for issue resolution and system enhancements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through best practices in warehouse automation, inventory optimization, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience in Oracle WMS solutions, with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations of Oracle Fusion WMS.
  • At least one implementation must include Oracle Fusion SCM modules (Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, or Manufacturing).
  • Strong functional knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway, cycle counting, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring Oracle Fusion WMS and related SCM modules.
  • Knowledge of WMS integrations with barcode scanning, 3PL, TMS, EDI, and robotics automation.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud architecture, security, and workflows.
  • Experience in data migration, testing, UAT, and production support.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills with experience in stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, global implementation projects and handle multiple priorities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to Oracle Fusion WMS Technical Architecture and Cloud PaaS extensions.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), OTBI reporting, and SQL for custom reports.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies for Oracle Cloud implementations.
  • Oracle Fusion WMS Certification is a plus.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Oracle Fusion WMS or SCM certification preferred.
