Business Analyst - US Healthcare
Experience: 3-6 years | Location: Hyderabad
Role Overview
Analyze business processes, healthcare data and reporting requirements to support
improvements across US healthcare payer and provider lines of business. Collaborate with
business users, technical teams and leadership to deliver accurate reporting and solutions
aligned with stakeholder needs.
Mandatory Experience
- At least 4 years of Business Analyst experience, with US healthcare experience across
payer and provider lines of business.
- End-to-end understanding of healthcare business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze requirements; document and communicate findings, and act as the
liaison between business users and technical teams.
- Evaluate workflows, identify gaps and recommend improvements; develop process maps,
wireframes and context diagrams as needed.
- Gather, analyze and validate data from multiple healthcare sources; perform reconciliation
and quality checks to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain quality and operational reporting; automate reporting processes and support
report enhancements, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Prepare test cases and validate solutions against stakeholder needs; manage defects,
change requests and related change impacts.
- Evaluate solution options through cost-benefit analysis and collaborate with technical
teams on implementation approaches.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and presentations; maintain procedures, prioritize
initiatives, track deliverables and support timely completion.
Required Skills and Tools
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Power BI.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence and VersionOne; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and
Visio.
- Strong analytical thinking, requirements documentation, reporting and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, coordinate across teams and manage competing
priorities.
- Strong planning, organizational and time-management skills.
